If geography has an impact on music, then Vienna has colored Toscas music at every tune. Over the course of a career spanning two decades, the Austrian capital has inspired Richard Dorfmeister (of Kruder & Dorfmeister fame) and Rupert Huber to make electronic mood pieces colored with Middle European melancholy and sophisticated sounds.
After their album OUTTA HERE followed by the Remix album Shopsca (The Outta Here Versions), Tosca released their 10th album in February 2017 called GOING GOING GOING plus the always add remix album Boom Boom Boom (The Going Going Going Remixes )in early 2018 .
Where OUTTA HERE changed their sound away from the ambient/art concept towards a more dynamic live feeling feat. the great vocals and lyrics by Earl Zinger aka Rob Gallagher (ex-Galliano) and Cath Coffey (Stereo MC`s), the new album soundscapes back to their strongest musical roots. The album is based on typical Tosca ambient art rhythmic sequences, perfectly chilled and laid back songs combined with elegant sounds and sub bass: Sometimes in life you find yourselves at a point where you need to walk away and leave something behind if you ever want to go back to it. Other paths must be walked, other experiences learnt from to give you a fresh view of where you´ve come from. In that sense going back to the roots, rediscovering their past with fresh eyes, is the concept behind GOING GOING GOING.
