The New Mastersounds, formed in 1999, are from old northern English industry city Leeds and sound like a Groove-Machine. The 4 piece live band plays an energetic and authentic funk, making you feel the joy of the original NMS sound: bass, drums, guitar and Hammond. They already released nine albums and played successful shows all over the places from Japan to the US. Guitar player Eddie Roberts was nominated in 2009 by BBC as the „Musical Director of Fantasy Funk Band“. Their latest album „Therapy“ released in 2014 gives a new perspective in sound and vision, Eddie Roberts (Guitar), Simon Allen (Drums), Joe Tatton (Keyboards) and Pete Shand (Bass) recorded 12 fresh tracks in Denver/Colorado USA, aiming for a forward thinking sound mixing vintage funk with raw soul, smart jazz and original disco.
